Allows players to practise 2v2s while engaging players with Euro 2025
This fun game is a great way to engage players around this summer’s UEFA Women’s Euros and provide them with the opportunity to practice 2v2 skills, getting lots of touches on the ball.
Mark out a series of small 2v2 pitches in a line and divide players into pairs.
Each pitch is a stadium used in the Euros and each pair is a country. The end pitch is St Jakob-Park – the stadium hosting the Euro 2025 final. Pairs play against another pair in a 2v2 game lasting two minutes.
At the end of the two minutes, the winning pair on each pitch moves up a pitch towards St Jakob-Park, the losing team moves down a pitch. The winning team on St Jakob-Park stays where they are to play again, the losing team on the pitch at the other end also stays where they are. Play a certain number of rounds and the pair playing on St Jakob-Park that wins the final game is the overall tournament winner.
You can change the format to play 1v1 or 3v3, depending on the number of players you have and the focus for the session.
